Captain's Quick Report: The Drunken Dwarrow Grand Opening!
With the Summerdays have come busy times upon this old Bree Captain; in great number are the many tasks and business that have arrived to be done... but yet still, are cheerful moments of respite to cherish throughout -- my mind drifts back to the opening celebration of an inn just hours ago within the Shire... an example of a Dwarf and the culture of those bounds he has settled within, bringing forth a most merry time for locals and travellers from afar alike!
The 'Drunken Dwarrow' inn it was called, and with posters far and wide announcing it's opening, it was still but a humble and merry gathering that showed themselves to celebrate. ( Or perhaps in some cases, to inspect this new neighbour! )
With the setting came the natural curious numbers and attendance of of Hobbits, many familiar faces among other going-ons throughout their parts of the land. Some of the Race of Man were also present, and perhaps we had only needed one of the Firstborn to have full representation of the Free Peoples! Hohoho!
The inn drew many together; visitors from the Grand Order and Blue Mountains Regiment, to farmers and well-travelled bards... why there were even hence a few memorable spirits from that Yule Feast at Briar Rose Cottage back then whom made the journey today!
To write of what happened upon each moment would not do justice to this merry time of humble celebration the opening of this Inn turned out to be. Yet one might consider the mentions and serious discussion of Fried Bat Wings that took place perhaps, or when Pies stuffed with Ale and Steak pieces were also brought out upon the table then.
Cricket Candy, IronAle, Blue Mountain Ale... these and much more became momentary subjects of interest among the many visitors, which moved to talk of a particular map the owner of the Drunken Dwarrow, the Master Dwarf Odsi himself, kept of the ingredients he gathers, then afterwards a short ballad he sung about the IronAle drink as well.
A calling for speeches followed, with the introduction of guest rooms now available for booking, and even an announcement that all patrons would depart this day with a free keg of their choice to roll home as a gift for attending. Quite generous that offer was, but pleased were many no doubt, hoho!
An inspection of the guest lodgings, music, and talk in the main room unfolded with natural ease throughout the eventful celebration. There were ideas put forth for the Drunken Dwarrow and the Green Dragon, ponderings about bald wizards, singing and dancing about Bounders whom had too much to drink, and warm comments passed on about the fine establishment Master Odsi had there in the Shire, as guests and visitors began to take their leave.
It was, in all, a most excellent and friendly break from my travels and business elsewhere; for with such busy times the Summerdays has lain upon me, at least put forth I can that the Drunken Dwarrow is a most outstanding inn to have opened it's doors within the Shire-bounds, and perhaps future visits and gatherings may yet bring new and old friends once more back again someday there.
Should future travellers wish to visit this location, look for the current address of 4 Myrtle Court, Burrbridge to stop by and see the 'Drunken Dwarrow' inn, in the Shire!

P.S.
A few more prominent gatherings have been made known these last weeks, in particular is the coming 'Wedmath Catfish Hunt' near the last days of this Month, followed the day after with Hobbits celebrating again with a 'Grand Summer Picnic'. While organized with their own Halfling-folk in mind, there may yet be room for passing visitors and travelling folk from outside their culture to respectfully attend! Standing well back helps to ensure many of the Little Folk can enjoy their time better!

Scribe's Note/Addendum: Greetings, Reader. With the permission of this Captain Naismithea individual, we have been asked to include some news you may be interested in, concerning better quality drawings, paintings, and colorings from this event from a number of other reported sources, not directly associated with the Grey Repository Archives. For your benefit, here are directions to where you can find some other wonderful drawings that have appeared elsewhere:

Naismithea's Note: As time has been scarce and the smaller number of rough sketches and drawings made on my part from today's celebration of the Drunken Dwarrow inn does not number too greatly, there will be no 'Overview' collection accompanying this early report. Instead, I have spent what time I could to remove the drawings I felt unnecessary, and put together the rest into the 'Main' collection below. As I ride back for the Bree-land, this is the best I can manage for now! Perhaps visit the 'Drunken Dwarrow' on your own someday, Master Reader!
