Captain's Quick Report: The White Flames present Dance! Dance! Dance!
The White Flames played once more today in the Gundalaf community, within a place known more widely as the Falathorn Homesteads, still within the borders of Ered Luin.
Titled ‘The White Flames present Dance! Dance! Dance!’ on the posters advertised beforehand, it was stirring music they played; that even sent me off to blissful thoughts of relaxed peace between periods of lively dancing. I was dreaming of food and cooking for some time even! The music must have been quite wonderful to put an ol’ Bree Captain’s mind to rest so well, hoho!
Throughout the rest of the concert, it was not only the music and melodies that the band from the Order of the White Flame which gave good cause for merry atmosphere and pleasant enjoyment of audience and songs alike; but it was also the very fact the band themselves – The White Flames – have consistently continued to give forth such wondrous concerts so openly and welcoming to all those that can make the journey, whether it be at seasonal festivals such as during the Harvestmath times, or just at these recently new, but growing reputation of the Gundalaf neighbourhood concerts they have begun to host regularly every few weeks or so.
It is a far journey to places such as this; where Gundalaf is called home by the musicians of The White Flames; or to Oldfurlong where Hobbits host their OAKS concerts; and even to Michel Delving and that Bird and Baby Yard Party those of Shire residence locally organize every week -- open to all visitors whom succeed in traveling there. But upon my travels throughout Middle-Earth do such rare opportunities as these rank highly on my list – my list of reasons to celebrate the imagination, joy, and spirit of the Free Peoples across the land; whom give us a respite so often from our other work elsewhere, and instead a chance to visit these eventful occasions so full of cheer and merry times among friends and warm hearts. To be so fortunate to partake and enjoy, together with these Free Folk, the flourishing of Middle-Earth life where it thrives… it is a true wonder and time of joy forever in such hearts as mine.
The White Flames performed with fine tunes and a promise upheld that today’s music would give cause for legs to move, and plenty of dancing… a 'Dance! Dance Dance!' of a good time it was for sure, hoho!

P.S.
Special celebrations have begun across Middle-Earth where firework shows are hosted each night, horse races return to Bree-land and the Shire, and several new items for bartering are available from several vendors whom accompany the festival that is upon us. Word has it that some lovely goats have been spotted among the ferriers this year for those interested ( I hear they can be quite useful should one adventure deep into mountainous lands... such as fabled Moria perhaps? ), and rumours even tell of mighty discounts and sales that go as far as half price in celebration of this 'Anniversary Festival' season this week!
Also several days from now, talented musicians are said to be performing at this week's coming Bird and Baby Yard Party in Michel Delving, a band called 'Ni! Ni! Hammers' whom will play plenty of Hobbit-like songs that arise from what is claimed to be the 'center' of Hobbit culture that is Budgeford. An interesting premise to be sure, and one perhaps worth investigating for those intrigued by the history within many of the Little Folk's past.
The newspaper known as the Bramblebury Gazette which caters to Hobbit news and going-ons continues to report that the Shire May Queen Election is still going forward as planned, with the event now having confirmed the candidates and that voting has already commenced.
Currently listed on the front page of that paper is also the date of the coming Forest of OAKS (Oldfurlong Amazing Koncert Series) -- taking place close to the last weeks or so of next Month. The Forest of OAKS is an magnificent event that first began last year as a spectacular gathering of all bands having ever played at the monthly OAKS, and culminating in a several hours-long celebration of music in Oldfurlong village, within the Shire. An exciting time this year's Forest of OAKS may be then; all the memorable illustrations and moving drawings by talented artists from the previous one still bring my mind to fond thoughts and smiles!
