Closing Chapter - Breaking steel

The ice crunched underneath his foot, Her words echoing softly in his head. "Your heart bears enought light to brighten even the darkest of days. Go forth, and make them fear the night."

He paused, his eyes peering across the vast wasteland. Furs wrapped around his body while the frigid winds billowed into the crag hat lay before him. The pure white snow, meeting with the blackened ash of the wasteland of Angmar meeting and colouring the snow with a bleak grey.

"May the Valar look upon me with favour. May they bless my blade, my bow and the shadow that shrouds me. The darkness shall fear me, for I am the nameless, shadow will guide my step. For no sons or daughters will I bear, my blood will be hated and hunted always." Pellam whispered, looking down upon the road before him.

He remembered Her standing before him as he knelt, the words resounding in his mind. "I am the guardian of your flock. The readied sword, the stable shield for the innocent and weak. Those who stand against you, those who stand against this Order also stand against me. They shall fall before you, none shall stand in your path so long as I draw breath. The enemy will come to fear the night, just as they fear the dawn."

No emotions played upon his face while walking down the frozen crag, bitter winds snapping within. His whisper playing softly on the wind. "They shall fall before you, like grass under the sycth."
