Prologue - Chapter 4 - Hedge and Walls

Since she was born and leaned to walk, she always went over the edge, edge of room, yard or town. Bold and unwise just as her father, always seeking, always wishing for a breath of fresh air while riding on open road or paths. She crossed many lines, borders of decent behavior, decent life among others. While other girls were learning how to cook or sew, she was in mud and blood to her knees traveling with fathers company.

That foolish heart of hers loved too much for any reason of mind, ignoring the guidance and warnings so many times. She knew she was not ready to enter that tomb in Barrow Downs..she didn't have enough supplies..she should come back other day..ready.

Yet, desire was too strong, greed for that grandest reward in shame of forgotten necklace or sword, anything! Chunk of ruby or copper ring..anything filled her with joy, the joy she rarely ever felt. So alone most of her days filled her time with men..one, two..four..who knows what number..Seeking that feeling of life so strong in body. Even Tindam that she loved as much as she could, was just a breeze of life it would be.

Now, sitting by the campfire with two man that saved her by mere chance and good hearing..she looks toward Bree, in distance. She thanked them and got up, slowly walking toward the town. Just as she passed the western gates, she crawled in the stables, hid herself among hay stacks and curled in. Feeling safe enough she fell asleep with only bare life in her hands.
