Smiles all round.

Well recent events have been interesting to say the least. I finally told pa-pa about Skelly and I, he took it better than expected but not as good as I'd liked. But Skelly seemed happy with his reaction so as long as he's happy I am too. Though apparently keeping something like a relationship a secret in the dawn is impossible. Gossip they said, oh well at least papa knows now so no more worrying about that.

Now then Skelly, Seaver and I are working on finding these men who are called the 'Stone quarter bandits' one gold each for them and Seaver just doubled the price. A lot of people have been attacked by them, my self included. The first time I escaped with bruises the second I wasn't so lucky. These men seem to only rob woman but they attacked Gorlen I believe and a few times when men were involved. They take food, coin, anything worth something but the strangest thing they take is shoes.

The people they've attacked so far are:

-Claery

-Cirywen

-Gorlen

-Me

-Skelly

They are getting bolder by the moment, Skelly told me they had resorted to pick pocketing which is a strange change of tactics, these men aren't normally so... Delicate, they're prepared to fight to get what they want.

But yesterday something happened that cheered both Skelly and Seaver up. A member of the watch came over to us and asked if we'd like to throw some rotten vegetables at two mischief makers. When the two lads saw who it was they were more than happy to oblige. I didn't catch their names but one of them knew of the Captain, Basaran so I guess he knew Seaver and Skelly.

They made a competition out of it, Skelly won by fifty points. I'm just glad it put a smile on their faces, Seaver even laughed which is something he's been needing for sometime it seems. It was quite an entertaining sight and many people turned up to watch or join in. You know I wish I had had a throw, maybe next time.
