A Really Big House and a Couple of Friends

Barliman had a note for Cisel... now that was extremely rare.  No one ever left a note for her unless it was Aeo, and he never left it with Barliman in the Pony.  Cisel immediatly turned for the door, walking outside without ordering as she plopped down on the bench by the fountain.  Opening the piece of paper, she saw words scribbled across the page with what looked to be what her tutor called numbers.  Cisel herself could count up to twenty and knew a few of the numbers past that, but she commonly mixed up the thirties, forties, and fifties, although she never really tried to count that high to begin with.  Once she remembered her brother helping her reach seventy-four, but they most likely both messed up at several spots.

On the paper, Cisel was slowly allowed to make out some words like High and her name of course.  As she sat staring at the paper, she began to slowly sound out the words as she suddenly realized it was an invitation letter.  Although she wasn't exactly sure from who for the name was really hard for her to sound out.  Taking a moment to figure out the street address, she headed off to the homesteads, having a little help from a few people there to direct her to her destination.  Finally Cisel found herself in front of a gigantic building that she slowly crept into.  Upon peeking into the main room, she spotted several of her friends including Rickstan, Dal'darac, Goldgel, Zuilyun, Eri, and so on.

After several moments of a surprised state, she slowly crept into the room to be welcomed by the others.  The massiveness of the house (at least for Cise that is) shocked her and sent her in a state of awe at first.  Food was sat out for everyone on the ground, the others sitting in a circle around the platters full of pastries and so on.  Dal introduced something new to Cisel she never had, spiced rum, which she soon found was very strong and very good.  The night was filled with laughter, food, and stories, Cisel telling the others how she met her good friend Rasnath and about her recent trip with Gold, Zuil, one of Dal's brother, and Dal.  There were many animals the others told her about and showed her that Cisel had never heard of.  From tigers to scorpions to cobras, they were all foreign to her.  At the end of the night, at Dal's request, Cisel stuffed her bag full of half of the remaining baked goods and Eri took the rest before both ventured on home.  Cisel felt happy as she rode on Alex's back towards the ruins she had settled down with a friend at.  Once she reached her destination, she slid off the horses back to see her friend fast asleep, poking him with her foot.  He didn't stir so she merely plopped down beside him and pulled out her journal.  Flipping to the first empty page, Cisel began to doodle, drawing some of the things she encountered that night

As the night wore on, Cisel finally passed out by her friend, exhausted and happy at the same time, her stomach feeling completely stuffed.  And even though she woke up half way through the night to throw up the spicy foods she had eaten that never seemed to agree with her stomach, she still woke up in a good mood that she rarely woke up with.
