Captain's Quick Report: Cosmic Maidens
Outstanding! Above and beyond was the music and audience today at the Maidens of Vanimor concert, once more 'rocking' Celondim, south of the docks, on a distant hill featuring the 'Celondim Theatre' venue.
I also had the outstanding privilege of meeting Master Everbrock, and Master Grelbo. The latter of which someone kindly told me his name afterwards, despite us not getting to introductions proper, as the musical melodies had begun in earnest for the concert. To think I was able to meet a member of the Bannockbury Hall Mathom Society, despite the rumours it's founder has left, and as an organization, it continues to only exist in name and memory at this time. And then Master Everbrock being related to Master Pogodoc, by that relationship of gaffer and son, whom the latter I have the fondest memory of thus far; from watching that old but lively-tempered, grey-haired hobbit stride out onto the field back during the Winter's End Tourny in Bree weeks ago, and return to the audience the championing winner of the archery contest, amongst only Men and Elves for competitors at that! I should remember to write a captain's full and detailed report on that tournament sometime, it was quite a thing organized by Sir Newell of the Bloody Dawn, it was! Hoho!
Moving on to the concert itself today, the Maidens of Vanimor -- claiming to host and be playing a collection of songs by some fellow or musician named 'Pink Floyd' and 'The Dark Side of the Moon' -- the melodies that rang throughout the outdoor theatre area, in that tucked away corner of Celondim, was stirring and lively -- especially when you consider the audience whom hence arrived to watch! A large number of the dear Hobbits... a fair consideration of both Men and Elves... and at least a Dwarf or two -- all together under the bright afternoon, and night sky, through which this concert proceeded through.
It would be no false claim to persist that surely you should have been there if you wanted to experience the atmosphere and joy felt today. Even here at Celondim's docks and nearby mailbox... the entertainment and musical cheer just an hour ago continues to ring soundly through the heart. No drawings, writings, or passing conversation after the event can portray it proper, I would dare to say.
Though nonetheless, it may help all the same! And so before I write further, which by now you must understand is simply not to be done for too long under the format and protocol these 'quick' reports by a Bree Captain are to be, I shall end this brief summary of the outstanding concert once more today, and place a larger focus on compiling the various drawings, sketches and colorings from my memory of this event, and sending that forth to the Grey Repository Archives along with this early report.
The Maidens once more at the end, however, reminded all of the audience that they plan to appear forthwith again in two weeks time, at the same location, for another musical concert they would like to give for the Free Peoples of this land. Perhaps details might be posted finally on the Grey Repository News Boards around the various towns and settlements across Middle-earth sometime I hope -- as today's concert I was only luckily reminded of its taking place through a private letter from the Lady Nimmiledh of the Maidens of Vanimor, whom they themselves seemed to rely on contacting folks by a private mailing list, of which I was lucky enough to sign up for last month, at their previous concert!
As always, a more full and complete report of today's event and proceedings should hopefully be published and written by my hand for the Grey Repository Archives at a later date.
An outstanding and wonderful time today, it may not be the most familiar music our era of Middle-earth is accustomed to, but a great set of tunes and songs to the ears, and dancing feet, they were nonetheless!

The April OAKS with Crazy Rockin' Music was also officially posted to the Bramblebury Gazette by Missus Acorne a week or so ago, and will be taking place on April 7th!
Small, and quick overview collection of drawings and colorings from the event:
(( Heads-up! These additional two slideshows below, have over 100+ screenshots in each one, for a total of 200 or so, between the two. I tried my best to weed out and not upload too many that felt like duplicates or repeats, but I'm afraid quite a few slipped through for this one. My apologies to anyone in advance that expect to have a fast skimming through these slideshows and not be irritated by the number of 'similar' shots -- this time around it's more geared for those comfortable with a slow, and relaxed tour through the entire event from start to finish, ish, as told through screenshot *spam*, and don't mind scrolling through a few repeat/similar-ish shots that occur a few times throughout. I'll see what I can do about being a more selective screenshot-tographer, instead of a shotgun-type one, as the future rolls on, heh!))
An album of drawings and colorings containing the first half of the batch submitted to the Grey Repository Archives alongside this early quick report:
This album contains the second, and last half, of submitted drawings to accompany this early report:
Note: Permission is automatically granted by Captain Naismithea for artists and other creative individuals to do as they might like with any of these drawings, colorings, and paintings -- things such as use for advertising posters or future events, enhanced artistic touches, or even banners and the like. No credit to the original need be mentioned, nor is required by the Captain Naismithea for these collection of drawings submitted to the Grey Repository.
(( If you happen to have the urge to pluck out a few screenshots to use in a banner/signature/photoshop-graphic kind of thing, be my guest! No need to link back to the original, mention where you got it from, etc. It's free for you to use creatively, just nothing of the malicious sort. Savvy? Good! ))
