The next day the inn was empty and instead of the inn-keeper, there was a young girl, that smiled to me when I entered the main hall. As I stepped outside, it was raining and the streets were empty. I made my way to the beggar’s alley, it was obvious that I will have to spend some nights in there, if I don’t find any place to work. Shouting on top of a box and sleeping on the streets wasn’t what I had in mind for my life in Bree- town but here I am with nothing else to do. And then it hit me… literally. A shabby piece of paper stuck on my face, from the wind. First thing I saw was the first line “Want to earn some extra coins? “. The next thing I saw was a picture of black wolf. Another line reads “We will provide you with a home, coin and food! “. That is all I need!
This new job I found on the old piece of paper turned out to be … working around the law, as the leader that recruited me said. I didn’t really care, I need to step back on my feet and that’s all that matters now. He asked me to make some flaming oil, enough to burn down a house. Oh the irony! And that is just a day after I have burned my own cabin…. By accident!!! They let me work in their head quarters for now. And here I was back in the game, doing what I do best and I was about to get some coin out of it!
