A new home and twins

What was that you ask? What happened once Falraenn was taken by these slavers? I'm glade you asked that, for that is my next tale, at least a small portion of what happened. For you see, the slavers were brothers of the most heinous sort. They saw women, as a means for money and a lot of it. People would pay high marks for a young unsullied girl. This is exactly what they had in Falraenn too.

A hood put on her head, a long confusing walk, in a town she still barely knew, then a long trip in the back of a dark wagon. These are the first things Falra experienced after the night her father sold her to slavers. He got but a mere pittance of what she would make the twins in the next thirteen years they owned her. They only handed him three gold. Now you see, for a man trying to feed four children and one wife, plus himself, three gold was a large and much needed sum. He had lost his only means of fresh meat when he removed the bothersome, useless child, that could not hear, nor speak. He needed to make ends meat somehow till he can train his eldest son to do the hunting, or maybe even send him off to be a soldier and have him send his pay home, for safe keeping of course. No, three gold isn't even a drop in the lake of what Falra made for the twins, in both her body and information, but I tease you with this much already. Let us return to this one event, the rest will have to wait for another night.

When Falra reached her final destination, or at least what would become home for several years, she found herself in a large room. The room was filled with cushions and extravagances.  A bed larger than she had seen before, of a make she could not place. One covered in furs mostly. In one corner was what looked like an indoor stream, in fact that was exactly what it was. Little did she know, she was deep inside a network of caves, this very room was built in such a way that it took advantage of an underground hotspring for bathing. There were bars, where the walls ended at the floor, to keep anything from getting in, as well as anything from getting out.

Falra was lost, confused and filthy. She took this chance to get herself clean. No matter how cold it was at night when she went hunting, she always bathed in one of the streams, before returning home with her catch. Never had she gone so long without feeling the soothing touch of a stream. Keeping clothes on, she lowered herself into the water. She was left alone for many hours, long enough to wash both body and clothes. Rummaging around in the drawers of the room, she found a large shirt of a man and donned it. Wrapping a cord around it to cinch it tight about her small waist. As her hair started to dry, this was when she met the first of the twins.

The man was beautiful, long black hair, fair blue eyes. His mere presence brought a flush to her cheeks. This may have been the only thing that saved her. So cute did she look in his shirt, so red were her cheeks. So pure her eyes as she looked at him. He instantly knew this girl would be one of his favorites. Only about six years younger than he was, she was prime to sit next to him. If only he made claim to her. Thus he did make claim to her, he took her that very night. Took joy in her screams that later calmed into sounds of a lover. He was gentle with her. He was always gentle wither her. For several years he kept her close, only shared her with his twin brother. Educated her, taught her to read his lips, taught her to use hand signs to speak with. The twins brought in slave women and men from the far reaches of Middle Earth, just to teach her their hand languages. Some were not slaves but tutors paid to teach her. Many languages proved too difficult for her to learn to read though, Those of the South, in the lands of heat and sand, for example, the words spilled together too much for her. Those of the Eldar as well.

This is what started Falraenn on a track as a bird in a gilded cage. She was let out, only as long as she brought back what was wanted. Only once did she fail, that, is yet another story.
