((excerpt from the neatly written journal Tarthanir uses to keep track of his business))
Finiar was a spineless, weak-willed sycophatic petty noble who had me take a political rival of his out of the picture, it was a simple job, and I feel I completed it rather well. Frankly I have no idea how or why he worked up the courage to conspire against me, perhaps he was just too paranoid that I would betray him one day, regardless it was him who bribed the Minas Tirith watch to keep the doors open for the assassins who killed my sister the night of the murder.
Fortunately luck smiled upon me as it turns out Finiar had a relative here in Bree he planned on meeting, that was when I struck. I knew Finiar was a coward at heart and that he would flee for his life if he saw me, I elected to use this to my advantage. I herded him like a sheep up towards the sharp cliff face overlooking the Prancing Pony. Caught with no where to run I grabbed him by the neck and hung him over the side of the cliff. He desperately tried to bargain with me, to pay me off, to do anything he could to prolong his life just a little longer. In the end he found himself falling down the cliff, crashing into the roof of the stable near the Prancing Pony inn, the fall was instantly fatal, no pain no trauma, just a scream followed by a thud.
One random passer by saw the man fall, and may have seen my silhouette but she couldn't possibly have identified any meaningful characteristics of me. All in all it was a resounding success and I managed to make a clean getaway, unfortunately I fear not all the men on this list will prove so easy to kill.
