Tarthanir
Tarthanir Endareth
| Name | Tarthanir |
|---|---|
| Status | Active |
| Occupation | An apothecary as cover for his true profession as an assassin. |
| Age | 32 |
| Race | Man |
|---|---|
| Residence | never stays in one place for too long, but is currently in Bree |
| Kinship | He is currently working on his own. |
| Outward Appearance | Hailing from the kingdom of Gondor, his slightly tanned skin and black hair suggest a mixed heritage, and the exquisitely tailored coat of black silk he wears would hint at a man who at some point in his life came from a higher rank of society. His long hair is almost always neatly tied back and goatee kept meticulously trimmed. In spite of the civilized veneer about him, the lines on his calloused hands, and weathered skin indicate someone who has traveled far, and who has likely seen his share of conflict. Most telling though is his face, the right side of which bears a deep cut along the length of it, a piece of metal keeping his jaw in place. Tarthanir is not at all a large or imposing man compared to his kinsmen, indeed he is quite gaunt, with very long arms and legs. Despite this his physique is highly toned, indicating that his body is kept in good physical condition. Tarthanir does not usually walk around visibly armed in public, but he carries a curved dagger inside his coat wherever he goes, and many of his surgical implements are also tools for self defense in a pinch. When operating in the field however, Tarthanir trades his finery for a weathered suit of leather armor and a dark gray cloak hanging over one shoulder. His belt pouches come loaded with tools of the trade; lock picks, caltrops, darts, and mixtures meant both to heal and poison. His shortsword hangs constantly from his belt, and his hand remains ever near it's pommel, ready to draw at the drop of a hat. -Talk around Bree would indicate that Tarthanir runs a clean practice, his work satisfactory, prices high but not extortionate. -One seeking to higher Tarthanir for his less legitimate services would have to ask the right person in the shadier parts of the town, even then rumor in the underworld says he is highly selective of what work he will actually take. -Even more recent news suggests Tarthanir is making an earnest attempt to reform, cutting ties with previous employers and looking to seek out more legitimate work. -Officially Tarthanir came to Eriador from the south to document the local flora and fauna, the apothecary came after as a secondary source of income, Tarthanir has yet,to indicate how this project is progressing. |
