Parchment Of Allegiance:
As to the agreement of terms decided between the two parties
The Red Company and Thane Theodvan Goldenshield of Rohan in forming an alliance.
The details and items of which are listed below are the terms of which
the signatures provided at the bottom of the document will certify:
Item One: Continual establishment of friendships between our two Creeds forthwith.
Item Two: Therefore, there will be no acts of aggression between our two Creeds in exception of members of whom have the right of protection withdrawn due to political laws and influences; be they stated by the Lord, Lady, Steward or First Marshall acting as a representative of either faction so entitled within this treaty. This also includes laws held and represented as generalized laws of conduct from respective lands the factions may reside within or represent.
Item Three: The people of our Creeds are not to express their opinions, announcements or grievances uninvitedly when a privatised moot is formally adjourned.
Item Four: All concerns are to be brought to the Court Advisor, who is the First Marshall or Mediator; who will bring the matter to the leader's attention.
Item Five: No pointing swords at each other for the faults which would be theirs. All internal disputes within the alliance will be resolved by the leaders of the Creed and their advisors collectively.
Item Six: The Creeds are to aid each other economically by an established free trade treaty. At no time will there be Instituted tariffs. In regards to tariffs, if its deemed necessary because of economic hardship to increase cost of goods, then these matters will be brought to the Creed leaders to vote on collectively. If an agreement is reached to raise the pricing then this will be unilateral across the alliance.
Item Seven: In times of need each will aid the other in Copper, Silver and Gold coinage as a gift of resources if able to do so
Item Eight: There will be established and binding political unity between the Creeds in maters pertaining to other Creeds outside the alliance. Be they acts of either or both militaristic or economical fronts.
Item Nine: Each will stand with the other to resolve disputes between other factions and creeds in regard to negotiations should aid be called for.
Item Ten: Therefore each will protect the other in acts of aggression leading to war or invasion by providing troops, Weaponry or both, as needed, standing united on both militaristic and economical fronts.
Item Eleven: In accordance to this. If either faction involved and so noted and bound by the terms of this treaty has a military only to support its own defense or no military at all, then the creed is not obligated to support by troops or weaponry, the war effort. This would leave the faction susceptible to invasion. The militaristically strong factions would still be obligated to defend the weaker creeds in acts of aggression against it.
Item Twelve: In the war effort: Prisoners of war will be tried and judged within a territory based on both moral and governing laws within the aggressed territory. Penalties will be administered within the region based on their own methods. Council will be sought mandatorily of the leaders of all allied factions. The final decisions will be based on considering the laws of the invaded territory.
