January 15th,
Finally, slowly but surely the caravan's come rolling in to Thorin's Gate, and tired dwarrows with them from Bree. I went ahead of them, as I had urgent business to attend to. The caravans are all carrying some leftovers from the Dwarrow Faire but most importantly its results, lots of coin, which pleases me greatly! But the participants did not go home empty handed, for we had stocked up on winnings for the events. Gold and gift and many astonished faces! A grand Faire indeed.
Lord Odsi and my nephew Lord Barkgrim had done a wonderful job organizing the faire, as had others of our company, selling fine wares and curiosities.
Word of the faire now spreads from The Blue Mountains to beyond the borders of Bree, and the Shirefolk being particularly fond of it attended in great numbers. The Order of Khuzd Belkul lead by my nephew Kandral contributed also with the faire, organizing a quiz and stalls, which to my realization whilst playing the quiz, that I need to go through my history books once more.
As for now, we will have a few days rest and counting of our income ere we begin planning for yet another faire, which is of no haste at this particular time.
