​Lumbermill? Who would ever imagine Ballanneth Bellchap (Or Ballanneth Belch, as most people in Bree have taken to call him for being such a slack) working! And in a lumbermill!... There was a sudden moment of realization in the mind of Mr. Frederiksen Bellchap that Ballanneth was, indeed, not even going to attempt to work. All this years raising the boy, even if he wasn't his, to have him be a successful and independent man; then, out of a sudden, he had a rag-doll laying on the garden.

And now it was desicive: Ballanneth would leave the house and move to another one. He would no longer be living with his adoptive family, but rather all alone in a quite well-off house. The twin sons of Mr. Bellchap were wagering how many weeks until they found Ballan Belch crushed under a pile of filth, and Mr. Bellchap himself said: "One week top."

Now days one can find Ballanneth in the Pony, wasting all the money he HAS NOT earned, or sleeping anywhere comfortable enough for his liking.
