Introduction- My newest Journey.
For years now, I have traveled to every corner of the map.. Except the very northern tip of Eriador. I am hoping to encounter a new culture, and be one of the few to write about it. The Lossoth, of Forochel, are a virtually unknown people, who I intend to learn more of, to give this knowledge to others in the south, so people will know who our distant neighbors to the north truly are! Hopefully they speak common. I suppose I will find out soon enough.
June 6th,
I have begun my expedition northward toward the frozen wastes of Forochel, and this is a long, and boring trip. I have already been riding a full day and a half, and only reached as far as the hobbit lands. Perhaps there was a shorter path? Oh well, too late now. I have cut west already and returned to Stock, where some of the hobbits remember me from a previous expedition, and have let me stay in their inn. Though, I will be sleeping on the ground, on a bedroll, since these beds are so low.
June 13th,
Seven days into my journey now. I have burned through a good bit of supplies, some of which lost to these damnable ruffians that lurk around here, but I continue on my route. I am confident that the people in Forochel will be hospitable enough to spare a meal or two. I am in a place called Ost Forod, in Evendim. It's not too bad, but the people strike me as.. Off..
June 20th,
Through sheer determination, I was able to finally reach a village in Forochel! Merry day! The people here were, expectedly, wary of me at first, but they seem to no longer think of me as any sort of threat. Tomorrow I am going to try and get one of them to tell me more of their upbringing, heritage, and all.. Only a handful of them speak Common, so It'll probably the one translating for them that I speak with. They have treated me to a meal, and a fire, which I am grateful for.
