Anglarien's Petition to Vanimar administration

Dear Lords and Ladies of Swan,

It saddens and ashames me greatly to write this letter, but circumstaces of the latest events have given me no other choice.

About two weeks ago, in the Hall of Fire gathering I was engaged into some idle chatter with ladies of renown of Imladris. While trying to remain a virtuous and true lady -my background and training would not allow me to act any different- in all my conversations, by unknown reasons I was exposed to the hostility of lady Rildheldiel briefly. Then in the end she did give me a vial of liquid, which she claimed it to be a medicine that would make hair shine under moonlight.

It would be rude to refuse such a gift, since a gentle intention, born in a sincere heart could be refused at only your reputations and friendships expense. We ladies of Rivendell do know that well and do not desire it. In order to forget the past bitterness between she and I, I did accept the vial. Lady Isilmewen is my witness of this moment.

After trying the vial in the bath, the effects proved much different than the original intent. In two days I lost all my hair! not only hair but my eyebrows as well!

Surely this was no accident, but instead an act of malice, perpetrated by a group of people to injure my public reputation, beauty and standing. It was a crime of a cunning plan, which perpetrators were aware of all the consequences of the evil act. And above all it was made against a lady which swore an oath to your noble house, in expectation of protection.

I hereby call honorable cauns to reinstate my public honor and justice. Punish Rildheldiel so she may never think to harm another elf again. I also deem Galdorion the hairdresser and sculptor, a culprit. He who is the one who retained the knowledge of such hair products and poisons, therefore helped Rildheldiel in committing this vile act.

Please heed the call of this lady, whose reputation and beauty has been injured on purpose, while under your oath.

Begging to remain as your loyal and humble servant,

Anglarien.
