Leothross

Through Despair into Dread

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

As the party approached the Watchers, a growing sense of unease filled Eruthaiwen. Standing before them was almost too much for the kind elf as their very presence seemed to suck the life from the air. She tried to comfort Leothross in his distress but to no avail.

Acurith frowned. "What did you do that the Stones had bothered to remember you? It must have caused great damage to the Enemy..." she continued darkly "...or maybe you were one of...them...and you don't remember it. There is no other explanation. At least none that I could think of."

The dawn was here. The company was stirring, though not as those risen from a restful sleep, rather as those rising from a restless bed to again to face an indomitable foe. Acurith leaned against the wooden fence around the camp, lost in thought and contemplation of the sight that stretched before her.

Eruthaiwen watched Zargodon stand at the edge of the landing, speaking with Leothross. Acurith and Mariym had already gone to sleep. She smiled at their group, thankful for each one. No matter how bleak the surroundings, they could make her smile and bring her hope.

Stopping in Aughaire

Story

Under the bleak Angmar sky, the small group, one smaller because Acurith had scouted ahead, had begun to set up camp in Aughaire near the cliffs on the south side of the village. After Eruthaiwen had healed what minor injuries they had accrued on the road, mostly from the great worms in the pass, she set up her own things. Having done that, she turned north, walking directionless around the town.

At a Loss for ... Memory

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The man struggled to open his eyes. He hurt everywhere. Groaning, he lifted himself up on his elbow and began feeling for broken bones. It was dark, very dark. It appeared he was in a cave. The surface beneath him was gravely, and he could vaguely make out the nearby walls. As he turned to see if he could make out which way would lead him out, he stifled a groan. His body was badly bruised, but, thankfully, nothing seemed to be broken.
