The Black Steel take a last look at Lothlorien before they put their blindfolds back on and are escorted out of the Golden Wood.

Gaeded asleep under the mallorn trees in Caras Galadhon. The company were only allowed to stay a night and they felt like they were unwelcome to explore and so stayed in one spot underneath the trees.

Deldhinel, while contemplating Mirkwood from the shore of Anduin, deeply feels the loneliness and the distant longing for her beloved.

In the bright morning outside the gates of Caras Galhadon Ealendil meets with hir Astordir, and is soon joined by Carniquessë and Elvealin.

Ealendil has asked hir Astordir to accompany her to Cerin Amroth, to visit the beautiful woods, but she also has another destination in mind, to a place closer to her heart.

Elvalin reveals her plans to gather honey for the house of healing in Imladris at the nearby bee-keeper. It was a task she took upon herself before they left the vale, and Carniquessë agrees to come along.

Carniquessë, Ealendil, Nienorë and Iorinos, a few members of the company that has traveled from Imladris, meet up with hîr Astordir, whom they met recently, and hîr Fëamiril, Elvealin's father, to enjoy the warm evening in the vineyards and sample some of the produce of Lothlórien.

After having crossed the Hithaeglir, a few members of the company gathers by the Galadriel's Fountain, beneath the house of Celeborn, to enjoy the sweet night of Caras Galadhon.

Here, Ealendil, after having escaped her aunt's attention, meet up with Iorinos for some small talk and greets Astordir, another traveler and recent arrival from the Imladris, who has chanced upon them.
