Lotherwen had already finished the day, she thought. Getting comfortable in the prancing pony after another day of work with her acquaintance Ronalda and a stranger she had not met before, Gungur, a dwarf from the Lonely Mountain. It was an evening like many before it, until a fellow with plants all over his clothes appeared. Singing and humming he introduced himself and his intention: to travel to Hengstacer Farm, post-haste!

Taking the suggestions of those of the Prancing Pony, Eira decided to take a journey down the Greenway, from the town of Bree to Hengstacer Farm. Of course, with her troubled past and disliking trouble, she took the journey by night. It was thankfully uneventful, and the girl could enjoy some fine scenery on the walk. Her cat, Fisher, trailed along. Along the river beside the Greenway, he managed to catch a nice fish for his late dinner.

Marlyn made a decision.
She packed her things and headed to the Hengstacer Farm, to rent a horse.
Bree wasn't her home.
"I have to find my father; he is the reason why I came here and now that I know, that he doesn't live here anymore, I have to find him elsewhere." is what she said to her friend Jonathaen before she left him behind.
