It is a distinct pleasure to tell you of Tinnurion, a servant in the household of Eöl the Dark Elf, King Thingol's most curious vassal. Tinnurion served as a butler, though the word falls short of the labour he carried out. In this chronicle is recounted his years of service in the realm of Nan Elmoth.

Meadwine and Meadowyn had before fought among the ranks, on foot. And the wars brought them to the lands further East, to Gondor. There the two fought side by side in many  battles and they were a fearsome two, potent soldiers upon the front.
