A paper trail

----------

Mid day in Tinnudir. The sun stood high, illuminating the bright blue sky, as well as the deep blue waters of Lake Evendim. Calm winds rustled the treetops and unsettled the shining lake with calm, continuing waves. White clouds silently rode across the sky along with their mirroring twins in the lake.

Such a gathering! To see so many folk of the star together. I do not know how long it has been since we met in such a number. I should ask Oldgrove - he prides himself on history. Perhaps he will recall it.

A gathering by chance at the shore of the lake at Tinnudir, though Adunzil and I had hastened there at Filrean's call some days earlier. A hard fast ride for me. The pain that results from so many hours in the saddle, offset by the thrill and ease of movement that being a-horse always brings.

Preparations to be made. I left him scouring the refuge for whatever can be spared or bartered for. It is better so - I trust his judgement - what do I know about snow? Time too, for him to reflect upon the choice he has made ... or his victory... however he may see it.

A letter marked "Tinnudir".

Dear friend,

Thanks to our combined effort I now have a little more understanding of the threat the invasion of A. poses.
I shall not talk more about it in a letter. Let it be said that there is a Man who dwells in Tinnudir who might have more information, a Dunadan by the name of Vinti.
I have not yet approached him, but I believe he has an interest in the freeing of A. He would be more able to assess the situation.

I hope this letter finds you well,
-Nimlith

Gwenbur looked at the view before her, completely awestruck. She felt totally at peace in this place. She looked upon the water, patting Bronwyn affectionately. She had not felt this much tranquility in a long time. She could not help but smile.
