Duarion and I were still half asleep, when an elf knocked on our door to deliver a letter. The sun was dawning over Rivendell and I slowly opened my eyes to take the letter, which was addressed to Lady and Lord Thorongial in Rivendell.
I recognized Marlyn's careful handwriting on it.

A sudden travel

It was the dim hope of another, better life that I saw in his eyes, when he revealed that he plans to go to Rivendell to gather his strength again.
I couldn't let him go again, never will I lose him again!
Didn't I give him a promise at our wedding? Here is the time to prove my words:
"You will have to get used to the fact, that I won't let you go without me. I will stay at your side and join you on your travel."
