Badhor split his hoof since I cleaned his hooves l just a few days ago. It doesn't seem to cause him pain, but I dare not aggravate it and make the crack worse than it is. I've spoken to the Imladris Ferrier and he's agreed it's not bad and should mend well given upkeep and time. All the same I'll be extending my stay in Imladris to give the crack in his hoof time to mend.

Marriage is somewhat of a touchy subject with this elf. He keeps his private life just that, private. Even should he decide to court someone, it is not something he would openly advertise. Lamaenon will occasionally lie about his marital state to ward off unwanted suitors, for he currently holds no interest for courting or marriage.(He rarely lies otherwise, if at all.) He took up this habit when an elleth from Lothlorien grew a fancy for him and continued to persue his affections for many years after he had made his disinterest known.

It was now early morning the next day, and the camp was beginning to waken. Astaras was the current warden on watch. The elf could not help but sigh in amused resignation when he heard a shout from the Silver Noldo's bedroll.

 

"They are just bruised! It will heal quickly I'm sure!" Lamaenon exclaimed as he wormed his way from the healer elfs hold. The Galadhel's hand grabbed for his blanket to wrap in.

 

Astaras had to chuckle at Angnil's perseverance. "Good morning Lamaenon, good morning Angnil."

I fear I most likely made a poor impression on the Avari. The last week has been a bit trying on my patience. Being bed ridden by an over attentive healer has not done me well either. I fear I have taken it out on him. It is going to take a great deal of patience to fix any bond with this Avari. I do not know if this is possible. I do not blame him if he chooses to avoid me. Now that I have had time for my temper to cool, Ai! I have been horridly mean. Orc like in manner even. Tis not his fault he did not understand, yet I pelted the salve jar at him anyway.

Hah. I was dragged into a elf Childs game. Hide and Seek in the Dark. I came home to the kinhouse. The candles were out, the curtains pulled closed or covered with blankets. Next thing I know I'm assailed by a shrieking Gileryn with a bucket on his head. On impulse, I punch what looks and sounds tremendously like an Orc. I realized who it was not a moment too soon and pulled the punch. The cuff I gave him upside the head gave the bucket a good ringing, his ears too I'm sure. I heard Gileryn groan as he dropped like a bag of rocks. I heard Galeryn drop to the ground somewhere in the dark.

-The black inked Sindarin script seems to have been written by an energetic hand.- There is music In House Halatir once more. Not Harp music, but music to my ears nonetheless. I returned home today to screaming. Rivondir's screams to be precise. He was caught and dragged into a tickle war with the twins. He was losing horribly I might add. The next thing I know, I'm dragged into it. I have spent the entirety of my evening in laughter. I wish Sylrond could be here. Even though he isn't..... I think I'm going to be all right. I needed that laughter. Gileryn found me. Back into the fray!!

The Orcs try to set fire to the edges of Lorien. Lamaenon and many others are quick to respond. A good many elves are undaunted, even as the flames grow hotter.

 

A co-op effert here. Sylrond made Lam,and i did the background/slight overlay tweaking.

Good luck to those fighting the huge fire outside of Yosemite valley!
