One winter I received an errand to ride up into the Misty Mountains to deliver a set of books to a warden camped up in the High Pass. I think he was feeling lonely and wanted something to read, or that's what I thought he sounded like in the letter he'd sent by bird to Imladris in late September. I took with me some fresh berry-pies to cheer him up. I think he's a distant cousin, so it'd be only proper to show some extra consideration.

Though far from my home, the bitter winds of the Misty Mountains, and its expanse of land...let alone the birds of prey and mammoths, can not help but provide a welcome vista and one not too dissimilar to that of Forochel.
