Musings on Moria

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

Moria, the Black Pit, ruled now by orcs and fouler things; Durin's Bane. This ancient kingdom of huge archways, mansions, viaducts and chambers now lies in darkness, but it once was lit all around by crystals and there was plenty of song and warm fires burning; Khazad-Dûm, the Dwarrowdelf, the home of During the Deathless and the Longbeards of old. Here my ancestors, the Urs-tarâg exiled from Tumunzahar after the great calamity of their time, lived among the Sigin-tarâg and they grew prosperous.

The Ring-Lore Quest, Entry 3: Memories by the Lune

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

I have departed upon my quest. I have travelled several miles east with my cart and have put up my first camp near the Lune river. I can still see the Blue Mountains staring back at me, my home. May I return swiftly to those splendid halls!

The Ring-Lore Quest, Entry 1: The Start of a New Adventure

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

The King has commanded me to find forgotten secrets in Mordor, mostly surrounding the ring-lore of Sauron. While I wish not to defy my Lord he demands a great many things, and it weighs heavily upon me. I have fought alongside the Longbeards quite recently and personally spoken with King Dain II Ironfoot prior to his death before the gates of Erebor, where also the last of my family fell. His son, Thorin III is now king of Durin's Folk, and I pledged my allegiance to his house the day we broke the siege and drove the Easterlings from our lands.
