Wavering Thoughts

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The sun was sinking below the horizon, bathing the ruins in a soft red glow. Its rays gave some final warmth before the darkness of the night took over. Gwingris was more occupied today than usual with a group of travelers who had just come from Imladris. They sat beside the fire now, sharing its warmth and a kettle of herbal tea. Some of them had stepped aside to stand watch or speak with the inhabitants of Gwingris. At this time, Eliriael broke away from the group quietly and inquired into borrowing writing instruments and the use of a messenger bird.

Watching him go, she felt an unexpected pang of emotion and smiled at him her eyes shining with unshed tears for the lost kittens and for his act of kindness. She sighed, suddenly realizing they would likely have no means to care for a litter of lynx kits. She rubbed her head and looked at the fire, there would have to be some way. She rolled out one of the furs near the flames and set to work cutting up the deer carcass for cooking and drying.

The Bonds of Eagle and Sparrow – At the Bottom of a bottle

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

What one can find at the bottom of a bottle many may assume to know. Inns are strewn across the lands of Middle Earth which offer entertainment, social familiarity, nourishment or news from all over the lands. I too am no stranger to the pleasures they can afford.

Eregion Journal Entry 7: Conclusion

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

As I now travel back home on the northern road, I think to myself concerning what I have seen and learned in the past few days. Upon my arrival, I was fascinated by these elven ruins I see scattered throughout the land, and I wish that someday I may return to examine them more thoroughly, as they may hold many secrets.

Diary

As I reached again the foot of the mountain, the snow had turned to rain, which covered much of the landscape in a foggy mist. My eyes again came across the hill covered in dead trees, and I chose that would be my next destination.

Diary

When I had returned to my campsite, I quickly gathered my remaining supplies, and took a path heading south, in the hopes of avoiding any Dunlending scouting parties. I made my way through some craggy cliff sides, and soon I could see far across the landscape. To the west was the peaks of Caradhras, which could barely be seen, piercing high through the clouds.

I could not sleep. The forest is restless, and I can tell there is something going on here. Collecting some of my equipment and dowsing my campfire, I chose to investigate.

Eregion Journal Entry 2

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

It was not yet dark, perhaps only mid day by its look. I chose to continue through this valley, which seems to be lightly freckled with trees and other foliage. The land is remarkably well preserved, the grass keeps a healthy green coloring, and through the trees I could see speckles of brown, orange and red. I wonder if the presence of the Eldar still influenced the land, as it maintained its beauty, even in disarray.
