Blodflaed sees flashes of memory here and there, from the battles that she has fought in. Every now and then, she feels the fear of waiting atop the walls of the Deeping-Coomb, as the vast army of Saruman broke through Helm's Dike and flooded the fields before her, with uncountable numbers. It's not a pleasant memory to recall and is unwelcome when it resurfaces. She wishes she could see glory in the moment, but for now, she cannot.
