Eira's hand fell across her stomach, gazing beyond the library's gazebo into the angry summer sky. Not a cloud was above her. The gazebo usually had a fanciful fountain working with flowing, rich waters. Now, the well was dried up and hot from the sun's relentless beatings. The drought was taking its tole… She closed her eyes, looking back to the previous night.
On the bed, Eira cuddled close to Nimraph. He slept soundly as she buried her head in his chest, clenching his silk evening wear as she smiled. She had never felt so much joy in her life. She pulled her head up, uncurling her hand. On her finger dazzled a wonderful ring with a blue gem. Nimraph had proposed to her. Of course Eira had accepted.
Eira is a seeker of knowledge, a lover of lore. She has her own library in her house in Millshaw, and visits Nimraph's library as well. Though, for the building's dark nature, not as often...

She awoke from a cold, deep sleep. It was like finally emerging from ice cold waters after staying under. No dreams had blessed her, no nightmares had plagued her. She was in a bedroom at the Huntsman and the Stag. Immediately, she remembered what had happened last night. The attack. She and Nimraph were running today. It was still dark out, peering through the window. Eira looked to the corner to see Nimraph slumped in a chair, fast asleep. Guilt lectured her, he had worse injuries than her! He needed the bed!
