As food and supplies are running low, some of the people of Bancross goes out for a hunt in the wintery Rohan forests, and will bring home moose and boar to feed the town. As always, they are all thankful and humbled after a grand hunt, knowing that taking the lives of a few beasts may feed many hungry mouths in the weeks and months to come.

A grand feast will be held upon their return, and the antlers will be set upon the wall as a trophy and rememberance of a successful hunt.

One night at the Bancross market, the loo line had suddenly grown to epic proportions... even the dog needed to go!

Perhaps they all had too much mead to drink that night, or something rotten had been served. Noone will ever know, except the poor bastard on latrine duty.

Woe!

Now Hild had not intended to be at all nosy about Thane Averel’s coming and going. She had thought in the past few weeks that surely he would return to Bancross soon, as he did every year at around this time. The village had prepared well for the leaner months, but she was finding herself eyeing some of her supplies in the Roaring Dragon a touch wistfully.

A merry evening at the Roaring Dragon tavern in Bancross hamlet! Drink flowed in plenty, stories and news were shared over platters of hearty vittles, while the bright hearth kept the winter's chill and darkness safely outside. Duncadda and his companion played a few jaunty tunes, including an ode to the one and only Gamferth, while Waelden tried his mettle with the infamous Old Saddle brew!
