Jon is no longer at Tinnudir, as I eventually learned from the Dunedain I met with there. “Eventually” is indeed the right word to use, as it took some time for them to see that I was either most likely on their side, or that it would cause no real harm if they told me. I ended up telling them that their prisoner was a very old friend, which they might’ve thought to be somewhat unlikely.

Too much time has been spent, and it has all been in vain. The forest of Chetwood and the lands touching its edges are wide, and I had not time to cover all of the most likely places. Yet even so, I found nothing... but such turn outs happen from time to time.
