The Guardian of the Spire has been destroyed, as it's link has been broken. Yet, the stone hasn't been destroyed, as it's power still exists - though it is faint and almost completely hidden from our sight. There can only be one explanation... someone has taken it for their own.

And it must be retrieved.

Jon is no longer at Tinnudir, as I eventually learned from the Dunedain I met with there. “Eventually” is indeed the right word to use, as it took some time for them to see that I was either most likely on their side, or that it would cause no real harm if they told me. I ended up telling them that their prisoner was a very old friend, which they might’ve thought to be somewhat unlikely.

It was a bright, cloudless day as Kaiell continued along the old, faded path of stone. He was getting closer and closer to Tinnudir now, soon to cross into Evendim within the hour. And even though he still hardly knew half of what he was going to do once he arrived, he felt pretty good about it all. Things were looking up. Even though Jon was still enthralled by the enemy, he was alive...

Too much time has been spent, and it has all been in vain. The forest of Chetwood and the lands touching its edges are wide, and I had not time to cover all of the most likely places. Yet even so, I found nothing... but such turn outs happen from time to time.
