Travel Journal - 35th of Laire, Imladris

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

I departed Evendim in sadness--though I plan to return there. There is beauty there, and I shall miss Nethrandir's company. It becomes clearer to me all the time that Men are indeed destined to rule this land once I and my kin are gone.

The following is a small scroll newly placed upon the Shelves of the Scholar's Stair. The Author you may not have heard of as anyone staying in Bree-town at this time, though the name is clearly Elvish. The hand-writing is neat with a quill-pen on parchment.

The Ballad of Nendaer and Celebiel

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

In Celondim upon the running Lhûn
Dwelled Nendaer the child of the wood
Who spied Celebiel beneath the moon
And awestruck at her silver hair he stood
Her willow form and features fair and good
And thus the heart of Nendaer soon fell
The moment he first saw Celebiel

Talfalco and the Trolls

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Tall and proud I' Hosse rides
Cross dark and wild places.
Behind Talfalco on his steed,
His pony has short paces,
For Halfling ponies are quite small,
Their size not built for races.

Lodhreth, he the warrior true,
Bids straight to make their pathing.
Talfalco, lagging, turns aside,
To find a cause for laughing.
And such a foolish choice did cause
What we in aftermath sing.

Fried Fish, Onions, and Strange Encounters - Part I

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

A short tale of the dealings with strange folk in the lands of Men between the mountains of Eriador, and also a celebration of the simple joys of life as seen from a minor company of dwarves (or "dwarrows" if you like).
