Women of the Mark cared for the family and the kin, with strength in their heart, no hardships would make them surrender to cowardice. Maybe only rare held sword and shield, calling themselves shieldmaidens of virtue, but rest of them were shieldmaidens with spoon in their hand, stirring meals from nothing, feeding and healing the weak and wounded. Offering courage for the weak hearted, an embrace for those they loved.
