Imladris, 47th day of Laer

My business here in Imladris is almost concluded. Lord Elrond is truly a great and wise giver of counsel and I shall treasure his words of hope and advice in the days ahead! I have only some others to speak with then all will be done. On the morrow, we will to set off on the road westward. Most of our gear is packed now, ready for departure.

Imladris, 48th day of Ethuil

I returned from a lengthy ride, into the foothills of Hithaeglir - such tremendous terrain - and sought a restful moment for reflection by the Great Fire, with some wine, before retiring for the night. To my pleasure, I found the Hall to be near empty, but for three or four individuals, talking and reading quietly. After the solitude of the wilderness, the hubbub of a noisy crowd is not the immediate sound I wish to hear!

Imladris, 44th day of Ethuil

The Secondborn are indeed a curiosity! I was pondering one such - a woman - that I happened upon some days ago, while I wandered through the Vale of Imladris of a starlit night.

Imladris, 35th day of Ethuil

I have only just arrived in Imladris on my errand - and what an unexpected surprise! A face I last saw many years ago appeared before me! It took me some moments to place her face, to ponder her name, and to fix them both in my mind, for it has been long. Yet it is true: Mornariel, the daughter of Ondotano of Nargothrond, is indeed here in Imladris!
