Waelden and the Horn of Faldham; one of his prized possessions and ever a hope in the darkness. Many are the horns given out to veteran warriors and heralds as a token of courage and valour, and its sound is well known through the Norcrofts.

Okay, first of all: I said I hate horn. I don't like its sound, and I find it is a bad music instrument. But horns are used for many other things as well, and according to my origin, the ridermark. How can a rider warn the others of his arrival, or the presence of the enemy, or maybe just a way to communicate or a sign to attack together? Now that I am in the Red Company, I decided not long ago to make my own horn.
