Background
Old even by Elven standards, to those who have noticed him Mithfindel has always just been there. Stoic and laconic, he somewhat considers himself a relic of the past ages - which partially is true, the Noldor kingdoms of the past are no more, and all that is left is the old wounds - while the Elven body may heal all but the gravest of wounds, the spirit may not recover.
In typical Elven fashion, Mithfindel has several epessi or lore names, including "Mithfindel" ("grey (braided) hair" - even if his hair used to be fair in colour, after losing his wife it turned to a shade of grey). Other epessi include Boromaw ("faithful hand" from original Quenya "Voromá") and Talagan (harper).
