Olomond is from the line of the Amberleaf's. A relatively small family who gained their name from the plant they so famously grow! Olomond is a simple farmer, he enjoys smoking and talking about the different strains of Pipe-weed. He grew up in a rather nice home in the shire, the home of his parents. From a young age he was taught the secrets of his familys farming success and aspired to be just like his father working on the fields. As he came of age his father handed most of the farming duties to him and decided to live a more care free life. Olomond was more than happy to take over his father's farm and send his mother and father money every week from his earning's so they can live a happy life. He is reluctant to leave the Shire but has been as far as Bree and Thorin's hall on his financial business missions. Selling Pipe-weed is sometimes difficult in the Shire as so many people do it. However everyone knows the quality of the Amberleaf's Pipe-weed Olomond is a very sociable Hobbit, he often invites complete strangers to his home for a smoke and some food! So if you meet this Hobbit in the Shire, you will have to have a good excuse to get away from him or you will find yourself in a long conversation!
