Meltharian was born in the port city of Mithlond  in the realm of Lindon deep into the third age, after the fall of the last vestige of the Northern Kingdom of Men. Her mother was of Sindar clan, her father was of Noldor. She grew up feeling a bit alone, a lot of the elves left these lands already and even less of her age lived there. She spent most of her first life stage spending time with her older brother or listening about the stories of the Kingdoms of Noldor that used to be, of the lands to the West, where most of the others lived, and the great creations of their people. At these times, she wandered in the forests around, but never ventured too far across the river Lhûn. Eventually,  as the days grew darker and the dangers got closer she started to train with a spear. Only when the Third Age got closer to its end, and she was more experienced, she started to venture more East, into the lands of Eriador, and even towards the Imladris itself.
