Jolbo was born and raised in Hobbitown. He always remembers Bilbo's Dissapearance from the shire, so from a young age he was always asking to go with his father and his older brother out of the Shire. His father and brother were normally only going to Bree and little beyond that, but seeing as they took a bow to defend themselves againsed the wild creatures if need be. Jolbo was convinced they were out fighting orcs. One of hs Ancecestors had made this bow for the family to use as a means of defence wile going to sell the pipe weed they had grown in Bree, and Jolbo was named after this Ancestor. So he went on pretending the farm was under attack from Goblins and that his Father and Brother were out fighting them for a few years, His mother becoming worried about the amount of odd looks her son was getting when he said he wanted to be an explorer, but let it be untill one day Jolbo's Father and Brother did not return.

They had been killed by a Boar that had charged at them, killing both Hobbits in a flash... Jolbo's mother did not cope well, and so sold their house in Hobbitown and moved to Little Delving. She was then angry every time Jolbo asked about being an explorer, not wanting him to go and get killed like his father and brother had. After thirteen years, Jolbo decided to leave anyway. He took the Bow that had been returned to the family and the few arrows and left, heading for Bree without a word to his mother. For two years Jolbo stayed around Bree, killing Boars for a living, before deciding to take on some bandits.. that did not go well. Jolbo had to run for his life back to Bree, considering to just go back to the Shire because he was no good when he met Nilawen, who encouraged him to continue adventuring... and he did.

It was all going well untill he was captured by some goblins in the North Downs, his bow was snapped in half in a small skirmish between him and three goblins... he was taken back to the camp the goblins were part of to be cooked, as the goblins didn't want to make a fire on the spot. The camp was already under attack when they arrived, and the group of adventurers drove off the goblins and rescued Jolbo.

Jolbo re-trained himself to be more defensive- he had nearly died twice... He now uses Javelins to kill a target at range or a shield and spear or sword if he needs to fight up close. He wants to adventure more than ever, confident he can manage if if he just goes more defensive and asks for aid when he will need it.

Jolbo wants to return to his Mothers home one day, but he wants to Adventure around a bit more first, incase she tries to stop him again... he feels slightly guilty that he just ran away without a word, he now understands she was just trying to protect him.

In recent times Jolbo has been saddened by the murder of his dear cousin, Korlbo. Korlbo was stabbed through the heart by a masked woman, whom Jolbo is trying to track down. The Hobbit has been more daring than ever in the last few months, and plans a large exploration of Moria... when he can find the companions, of course!
