| Outward Appearance | Standing a little under average height for a hobbit at barely 3 feet, you would think that he could be overlooked in a crowd. However, with his broad shoulders and head of thick, curly, sand-coloured hair, he makes up for in width what he lacks in height. He tends to be quieter than most hobbits, especially around the Big People, and his face is more often found full of consternation rather than laughter. When he does laugh, his brown eyes and sun-browned face lights up and he can be seen for the young hobbit - barely out of his tweens - that he is. Twigley tends to travel light, and never wears clunky metal or heavy attire. He is most often clad in light armour and cloaks, his bow and quiver ever ready on his back in case his services are needed. |

Background
Twigley Reedfoot is the son of Rovo Reedfoot. The Reedfoot family were old in Stock and could trace their history back to the Stoors. The family business of boatbuilding went as far back as any could remember, and had been passed from father to son. Thankfully (as far as Twigley was concerned), his older brother Twilly was more than happy to carry on the family business. Twigley loved the water for its own sake but hated business.
In spite of this, he did enjoy following Rovo and Twilly on their frequent trips to the Bree-Land, since the Big People there were where most of their business came from. While his father and brother conducted business, Twigley could most often be found sampling the food and drink in the local taverns and listening to stories from the rangers and travellers from up the Greenway.
As a result he found himself learning more about the state of the world than any hobbit probably should. The more he heard, the more concerned he became, the more he started to worry about the safety of his family and the Shire. When he reached his Tweens he was a far more serious and thoughtful hobbit than most in Stock, and he was often uneasy.
The Black Riders' assault on the Shire and Buckland seemed to slingshot Twigley into action. He knew that there was little chance that a single hobbit could make much of a difference, but to act felt better than sitting on his worry. Leaving his father and brother to mind the business he crossed the Stock Bridge and made his way to Bree.
Twigley is new to adventuring but he has learned a great deal in a short time. While he is still far more comfortable in an inn with a mug of ale before him than out in the wilds stalking monsters, he has learned to brave the dark and unknown and only complains about it intermittently. He is brave - sometimes too brave, and will place himself in unnecessary danger without realising the risks. More than anything he loves his family and the Shire, and is determined to protect it no matter the cost.
