Background
Lady Faelindis Silithriel hails from a Western fiefdom of Gondor. A cousin of Hirluin the Fair, who fell at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, Faelindis’ land borders the northwest of Pinnath Gelin, a small, fertile river-dale along the River Lefnui. Growing up, she helped her father and brothers till the lavender fields, engage in trade along the river and down the coast with Dol Amroth, and listened to stories of corsairs and other exciting adventures from the times of their ancestors.
Since those days, Faelindis has lost nearly every male member of her family, including her husband, who fell defending Faramir’s retreat from Osgiliath. Now that the War is over, she lives in Minas Tirith’s fifth circle, helping to repair the archives that were damaged in battle. She uses her literacy and skills of scholarship to aid in the rebuilding of the bureaucracy, helping to settle disputes over deeds, wills, titles, writs, and more. She is dedicated to seeing peace come quickly and thoroughly to their lands, and will rest only when there is no work left to do.
