Wary of forming friendships for fear of repeating past mistakes, and letting more people down. Carrying past guilt with her, she wanders from place to place, on the look out for ways to help strangers as she tries to make amends – looking to find forgiveness and possibly finding a way to forgive herself.

Growing up with brothers, Ana was expected to stay home until she had found a husband, but she always longed for adventure. Ana along with her friends Rose and Juni, explored during long hot summer days, and got into much mischief along the way. A misguided venture in her late teens however, saw her best friend perish along with her brother who had been sent to look for them. From that point on, she could not bear to be at home, seeing her parents’ grief each time they looked at her. She left late one night, gathering her brother’s sword, and headed out. She ventured far, and for many years but has never found anywhere to call home.
