| Outward Appearance | Uruniire is not that old, at least for an elf, at age 98. He is relatively tall, slender and pale, due in part to not eating much, preferring reading to food, and also due in part to his being an elf. His fingers are long and bony, often lined with a few small cuts from the edges of his parchment scrolls and the pages of his books. His body language and speech show little emotion. He is typically wearing his purplish blue and green tunic and trousers, usually carrying a pack nearly overflowing with scrolls and books, and has a small emerald necklace about his neck, enchanted to glow faintly when near a dragon.

Background
Uruniire was born in Mirkwood and was just a child when Smaug first arrived. He was taken with those who fled from Mirkwood. When he arrived in Celondim he began secluding himself in libraries and studies all across Ered Luin, gaining little actual experience of the world around him, but learning a good deal about a good deal of topics. Until one day he had learned of Smaug's death, and although he was obviously glad the beast was gone, he felt he should have been the one to kill it, so he packed up his few belongings, and a large collection of books and scrolls, leaving in search of another Dragon to slay for his pride, which he often tells himself is not for his pride, but his people. Currently he has halted his quest, wandering Middle-Earth, his travels most lately taking him to Rivendell.
As for his personality, Uruniire shows little emotion, due in part to him secluding himself from most others in favor of his books and scrolls, which also leads to him often seeming rude, or judgemental, though he doesn't often mean it. He is also quite inquisitive, and curious, sometimes leading to his intrusion in matters he shouldn't be involved with. The only times he truly shows truly great amounts of emotion is around close friends, his own kin, or at the mention of his former home. He can also often be very sure of himself, or rather, his knowledge, often putting his scrolls, books, and own knowledge before his own instinct and the opinions of others. He sometimes deeply enjoys playing tricks on those inferior in knowledge of his skills by exaggerating his abilities.
