Idhorion walks proud, his shoulder length black hair is not as smooth as most elves and he keeps it bound with golden tread and golden leaves when not in battle.

Because Idhorien has lived in the heart of Lorien for most of his long life is a typical silvan elf: reclusive, only speaking elvish (old and mutated version of Sindarin) and does not willingly deal with other folk. He has a very basic understanding of Westron and any communication with non-Dunedain is coolly at best. He has a slightly warmer regard to Dunedain as he sees them as superior to humans.

Background

(in Silvan Elvish)

hail from Lorien, True Silvan blood and born around the time Lord Celborn and lady Galadriel saved our forest realm (2060 of the 3rd age). Although our community has been mixed throughout the ages with Sindar an Noldor kin, in a peaceful manner, my family is proud to be pure silvan and the Nandorian language is still spoken in our house.

My early years were spend with tutors for the mental and physical education all Galadhrim get until the early age of 300. My eye for detail and love of crafts was noticed and I started learning weapon crafting. The opportunity was a gift to me and in a mere century I was given an official apprenticeship under (still looking for a player), a gifted weapon crafter of caras Galadhon

Tragedy happened In TA 2509 when Celebrían was waylaid by Orcs in the Redhorn Pass of the Hithaeglirs. She was tormented and received a poisoned wound that was never fully healed in mind and spirit. She no longer desired to remain on Middle-earth, and sailed west the next year in the TA 2510.

This lead to a period of increased vigilance in Lorien and an officer under Lord Rumil noticed my skill in weapon sequences. I joined the Marchwardens in defensive raids to secure the borders of the forest for the next 200 years. My value as a crafter of weapons often kept me from the front however.

Other races often accredit us, the mysterious Galladhrim, with having magical abilities. That may or may not be the case but to craft masterwork elven weapons, one needs more than a skill of the eye and the arm. Knowledge about the ancient ways is key to the path of creating true works of art.

In the year 2750 I met an extraordinary elf (can be filled in by a player), a historian of some renown in our forest realm. In the little free time that was left to me I spend in proximity of the elf, conversing with him about all sorts of subjects. It was during the next century that I realized that, to be able to craft a weapon of such skill that a mere glance would send evil running, I would need to learn history. For elven weapons are strong not only because of the craft and materials that go into it but also through the knowledge that is put upon them.

Strong distrust for humans and dwarves. Dwarves are short, ugly, crude, and obnoxious. They can be greedy, deceitful, even downright treacherous, and can certainly not be trusted.
