Background
My name is Daeriir, son of Daeriim, grandon of Daeriil (deceased), and great grandson of Daegor the Strong (deceased). I am 72 years of age and a Dúnadan.
I was born in the southern region of Forochel, where my father's old post used to be. It has since been torn down to conceal its existence. My mother died in child birth so I never knew her. My father still had his orders, so I was sent to Tinnudir to be raised and trained by my kinsman. From a very young age I learned how to stalk animals, and eventually people, completely unnoticed. I was taught to shoot a bow, fight with sword, dagger, and spear; I always favored the bow above all else.
In my latter years, I was given different posts to watch after and protect from danger. I have since reconnected with my father and we are now close, but he still refuses to speak of my mother. When my liege Aragorn, left on his quest from Rivendell, Halbarad formed The Grey Company to march south after him to assist him. I chose to remain in Eriador and joined Halthorn's Green Company to serve my time in the North.
