Leaving Annuminas

During a small skirmish in Annuminas, I received a blow to the head. I was left feverish and weak. At night I dreamed of strange hallucinations. Days go by, maybe weeks, time was a blur. I finally awoke with no fever, but a strong headache. How long have I been out? I did not know nor have the time to ask. Beside me was a sealed letter. I broke the seal and read it... I had to get to Forochel, she is there alone.

Another week passed. I was in my right mind, but still rather weak. I would train outside everyday, gaining my skills back one at a time. She's there alone. It's not safe. A second week since I awoke. My strength is nearly returned to me. I must leave at once. I rolled my bed up, donned my cloak, mounted my horse, and left that forsaken city. I hope to never return.

Riding all day has left my legs sore and chapped, but I reached Tinnudir easily enough. I read the letter again. My mind kept telling me go North, but I needed to rest. I don't even remember falling asleep but I rose with the sun. I gathered some provisions and left for Ost Forod. The ride was short lasting maybe an hour or two. I didn't stop, I must get there. The air grew colder and it started to snow. I was in Forochel.

Upon reaching Kauppa-kohta, I changed my gear into something more suitable for the cold. I stopped and talked to some of my Lossoth friends. We shared some firewine and a piece of haddock covered in butter. They told tales of a beautiful woman traveling north with some man in a hood. Who could that be? I'm not so sure of this. After eating, I left.

I rode all day and all night for I must find her. Pynti-peldot. I stopped there and sat down by a fire. Several lossoth were speaking of a golden haired girl who looked out of place, traveling with an eerie fellow in a mask. Him again? I need to press onward.

Two more days of riding in the harsh conditions. Only stopping to give my horse a rest and nibble some frozen fish, I rode almost ceaselessly. Finally, dusk of night three I reached Suri-kyla. Leaving my horse at the stables, I walked to the large tent where I would stay. I was walking up the stairs and there she was gazing at the stars....
