| Outward Appearance | Leorthir was once a handsome man but his face and body are now both marred and deformed by the many scars he has received throughout the recent years of his life. His fair hair ; now streaked with silver and pale green eyes both shows signs of great loss and a life hard lived. A large, hideous, purple scar is particularly prominent along his left cheek, causing the skin to appear stretched and pale. He can almost always be seen to be carrying his bow and a full quiver of arrows. Leorthir favours his green robe and leather vest with its many pockets he uses to store various items. A sturdy pair of leather boots are always worn by this man. |

Background
Leorthir was once a farmer in a small town of East Rohan. However a particularly harsh winter coupled with violent Dunlending raids meant that he had to turn to hunting to feed his family. The Dunlendings has scared off most of the game for miles around, or eaten it. However there was a well off family not far from Leorthir's own farm who had large tracts of land that were well defended and held the chance for food. While hunting there Leorthir was caught by a guard and accused of poaching (which he was). The owner of the estate gave him an ultimatum, leave the town with his family or be put to death.
Leorthir and his family fled the town and were forced to live in the wilds. The harsh winter made his young daughter ill and she died shortly after. He and his wife survived a while longer until the Dunlendings found his camp while he was away hunting, he returned to find his wife's remains on their fire.
For a long time Leorthir roamed alone, his only goals to survive and pick off Dunlendings as he saw them. Eventually he came across a small ranch with a few horses and stole one riding hard away. Either by chance or fate Leorthir found himself cold, hungry and poor in Bree. After spending the last of his coin on a bed for the night at the Prancing Pony Leorthir met Basaran, a recruitment officer for The Bloody Dawn.
Leorthir now works as a sell sword with the company to earn enough coin to survive. He still mourns the loss of his family but they are more a memory than a reality to him now.
