Byco was born in Budgeford where he first learned smithing from a local crafter and is a well-trained bounder. He lost his father when he was killed by a warg and from that day on no wolf or warg is safe with Byco around. He spent much time in Thorin's Hall honing his crafting skills by learning from the best of the best dwarf blacksmiths. Some time ago he accepted a job as personal bodyguard of yule, the leader of the kinship Shire Rose, which brought him back to the Shire. He does not know what dangers may threaten her, but he is determined to let no harm come to her.
