Lanthonvir was born in the early ages of the second age, right after Lindon was founded, he spent his early years as any elfing would do, play with his father and his friends. As he grew older he began to look towards the army and soon enough he took place in the army as a guard, serving under the High king Gil-galad in Eregion, his father and mother had passed away do to strong poison, none knows why still to this date, he quickly made a name for himself in the army, as he became known as the "Grey Sword" as he did not use a shield like a guard would, instead he wielded a two handed sword and with great skill as well. Years passed by and he remained in the army and fought in it as Eregion was destroyed, he then set out wandering around to get over the loss of his parents but returned when he was clled upon by Gil-galad when the time had come when men and elves marched together against the dark lord Sauron in the war that marks the end of the Second age. He stood in the front leading his own men he had under him, a company of about 10.000 elfs and 5.000 men and it was there the first blow came as the orcs attacked...Lanthonvir himself got seriously injured in the battle but he survived, being witness to the fall of Gil-galad and Elendil as they went head to head with the dark lord Sauron and once fully healed, Lanthonvir left the army and wandered around for thousands of years.
