Jufney Buntins is not the able fighter he once was, but despite his fading strength, he still would seem an able adversary all the same, still hosting a fair degree of muscularity and is clearly not remotely overweight. He would seem to stand tall, though only 5"11', with a smart posture which alongside his neat hair style, beard and uniform would create a figure of serious authority.

His greying hair is fashioned into a smart cut, and his equally well kept beard sits beneath a pair of pleasant lips, which seem resistant to the years Jufney has endured. These lips usually curve into a warm smile, one often associated with a kind grandfather or uncle. His face is not scarred by battle, rather by time, with wrinkles caressing each feature of his face, particularly his bright green eyes.

Jufney would usually be seen by the public whilst on patrol or handling other duties around Bree, and as such would be wearing his uniform. It is a long, brown hauberk worn loosely over a chainmail jacket, also with a simple cloak that protects the man from rain and sleet. Despite the great age of the hauberk, it is evidentially well looked after, with a sense of pride. Many repairs have been made to this rough garment, and patchwork is present at every side. A worn watcher's badge is pinned to his chest; though still mostly iron, it is embedded with a low grade of gold, unlike the dull badges carried by the lower ranked watchers.

At his belt, Jufney carries always a small coil of rope, which he is able to fashion into bindings very simply. Adjacent to the rope would be a small coinpurse, as well as a small rolled up piece of arnorian text, the idea being that it would ward away evil spirits and the 'dark magics of elves'. However, it is likely Jufney has very little idea of what the adunaic text actually translates to. Also on the belt, clipped at the far left, if Jufney's only the initials J.R.B are etched into the hilt. However, he relies on his shield more than his club; a large wooden shield coated in hardened leather. Unlike most shields used by the Watch, this one is somewhat decorated, having two large, white arrows painted neatly across the front. Often this shield is strapped neatly over his back, the large brown cloak pushed over one shoulder to accommodate the item.

On the very rarest occasion, Jufney will also have his unloved bow on his person. Crafted by his aunt when he first joined the Watch, the weapon sees little use, as it is an absolute struggle to carry a bow and quiver alongside the cloak and shield that also seem to live on Jufney's back. He does manage it sometimes, though, and he does seem to be competent with archery despite his dislike for it.

Few know of it, but Jufney also wears a tarnished silver locket on his person at all times; usually beneath his armour. The contents of the locket is known to even less people. Inside is a painted depiction of his wife, and the only picture Jufney has to remind him of her. It is an expertly created portrait, worth a large sum of money to have painted. However, the value of the locket is purely sentimental, and would not be appreciated to anyone besides a Buntins.
