| Outward Appearance | Grey short hair, usually neatly combed with a moustache to match. He uses a wooden stick with the head of a duck carved into the top as a handle. He can usually be found wearing his waistcoat or his tunic that he wears when he works on his farm. Sometimes he can be found wearing his old watchers uniform, if the watch need help, Jonnald is always the first to answer. |

A stone farmhouse bordering the Chetwood in the hills near Combe.
A haggard and stubborn farmer, dressed in old clothes of Bree-land. His moustache is dark and neat, but his hair grey and thin over his head. His face is wrinkled and battered; but he has quick eyes and an easy, booming laugh. He is broad but stooped with age, leaning on a carved stick with leathery hands.
He keeps on his left breast of his waistcoat an aged iron badge of the Watch, polished with care. When call for volunteers comes from the Watch, he throws down his stick and taked to a threadbare uniform of the Watchers and an old sword, both well cared for.
He is seen many days hard at work at his farm, and many nights outside, bent double with fellow elders over dice or telling stories of past days.
